The Fellow Creek Golf Course – Canton hosts a new charging site operated by Michigan based charge point operator EVCOH. This new site adds community and highway travel fast charging access. (Site opened December 2025).
Accessibility
The Fellow Creek Golf Course site is in far corner of the parking lot for the golf course. The site is 0.9 miles from I-275 at exit 22. East from the exit along Michigan Ave. Then, do a Michigan left to be able to go north on Lotz Rd. Southeast corner of the parking lot houses the 2 dispensers. No pull through stall for those pulling a trailer. The stall on one end has a sloped sidewalk for those needing this kind of access.

Concentration
Two dispensers and four ports provide the connection options here. Each dispenser can output 350kW, that power can be split in 90kW increments. The two power cabinets each support one dispenser making sure each dispenser can output maximum power if requested. The dispensers are split, each having one CCS and one J3400 connector supporting most cars that need a fast charge.
Location
This site supports I-275 a major north/south route. Major city distances from this stop: 30 miles to Detroit, 80 miles to Lansing, 70 miles to Flint, and 50 miles to Toledo, OH.

Speed
This site has plenty of speed. The power cabinets and dispensers are both rated at 350kW. The connectors and cables are rated at 600/500A current, so no limits there. The onsite transformer is 1000 kVA, so there is no grid power limitation. The only bottleneck for this site is once the dispensers need to power share, things would slow down, but there will need to be many more electric vehicles on the road before I would believe that there will be more than 2 cars charging at this site at one time.
Summary
This is a strange place to set up this kind of charging. There are no quick amenities for those interested in a longer-distance travel stop, and the units will charge too quickly for anyone looking for a longer stop here. The reliability of these newer BTC Power units is still up in the air. However, they do seem to have a higher than most standby power draw, meaning that the site is always using more power even when most of the time no one is there charging.
